THAT CONTENT FROM THE BASE GAME WAS LOCKED. Yes, it actually was. The Daily Heroic. The ability to play missions on any difficulty higher than easy. The Year 1 gear as rewards. And there's more. And if you had bothered to take a few seconds to actually look into it rather than being a dickhead with your assumptions, than you would see that not all of us are upset because we "can't afford it" or "dont like change" or "don't want new gear" which are of course all stupid reasons. But they are not my reasons, which i have just spelled out to you even though all you had to do was look for my other comments IN THIS SAME THREAD. Lazy, dude. Lazy.

So you are complaint out of principle? The only legit argument is that you can't afford it or don't want to buy it. Complaining about locked content just to complain is ridiculous. The weekly heroic strike is in line with the new dlc. His exactly could that still be relevant to people without the new dlc? They change so much but you guys are complaint about not being able to do the same stale nightfall again

I want, and i deserve, and so does anyone else who bought the base game, to be able to play all Year 1 content to the full extent that it was capable of being played at prior to TTK. This is not a ridiculous desire at all.

They are right now, yes. But they aren't always going to be. The dailies are locked out regardless of whether they are TTK missions or not, which is my point.

Well i dont know what its like to be locked out of content because i always buy the dlc... so i could care less if you think what i have to say is worthwhile, but i do know that if someone is still playing destiny a year later, you like it enough that you should just but the expansion and stop complaining

That is not a solution. Saying "just get it anyway" is giving Bungie a free pass. Yeah, i know all about the EULA, we all signed it. But buying a game comes with certain expectations, and these expectations were met and then limited after the fact. It is not good business and it is not a good way to keep a loyal fan base.

You'll notice i did not say we should be able to level past 34, because of course not. The new cap is specifically part of TTK. I have no issue with that. I also have no issue with not being able to get/use Year 2 gear and loot. What i DO have a problem with is not being able to play as much of the base game as i could prior to TTK, which is a true fact. Do i think the people who didnt get TTK be entitled to TTK content? No, of course not, because that would be entitled and silly. But i do expect to be able to play to the full extent capable in Year 1, and as of this post, many of us cannot.

1- daily heroic features new content. Thats why its not available anymore. You still have all those missions still. 2- those lvls have changed to the new light level system which falls under the whole max lvl is only in ttk which you said you were fine with. 3- all that stuff is outdate and all new stuff is out. Vanilla destiny weapons and armor were replaced in TDB and weapons and armor available in TDB was replaced with new gear from HoW. Samething has happened here. Which your required to be lvl 40 to use new legendary and exotics. 4- it all falls under the new level/light system in place and max level is only achieveable with TTK expansion. Its an ever evolving game. This will happen with the next dlc/expansion.

No, we don't. Yeah, Bungie is going to do what's best for themselves from their own business standpoint, i get that, and nithing we say or so is likely to change that. But I've still said my piece, and I'll stand by that.

Plus when you clicked accept to the terms and conditions you allowed them to make that change. Its even says it in there that they can do that
