agreed, seems bungie is just giving themselves a headache for later when one of these class specific weapons turns out to be the next suros or thorn in crucible and everyone is going to be running that class and that class only just so they can use the OP gun.
people will say that its for verities sake but in a game with people who min/max as bad as they do in destiny and don't have a ounce of creativity past what the current op thing is that excuse is invalid and meaningless. if one of these guns is like suros or thorn used to be then all you will see is a million titans using op gun ____ or a million hunters using ___ or tons of warlock using the other one, And thats just in PvP, if one was stupidly op in PvE like along the lines of the black hammer or heaven forbid gally the game would devolve into people going "lul nub you have to ____ class with its exclusive exotic to do raid / nightfall / whatever. i wish i had the faith in the community to think other wise but seeing how they've acted before if these guns turn out to the next big exotic EVERYONE is going to have a problem.
yes im probably wrong and these won't be a big deal but the whole concept is insane and would inevitably lead to what i just said
