No it was actually a perfect analogy.
No one reads the EULA because once you buy the game you're stuck with it. You can't decline the EULA and get a refund, so whats the point?

You are suggesting you no longer have what you purchased first with destiny. Which was the story, strikes (normal ones) and crucible. As far as I know all of these things are still accessable to anyone. Now things they have added, that you did not originally purchase is the raids, nightfall, dlc stories, and dlc gear. A more precise analogy would be I bought season one, season two has come out and I must now buy it. It is not included in the season one purchase. Long story short what you paid for originally is still there. Everything you purchased prior to the taken king is still there. If you did not purchase any dlc then you will only have what was originally in destiny as stated in the first section.

The weekly strikes and IB were things that came with the base game, and continued to work without any DLC until TTK came out. Advertised or not they were still apart of my original 60$ purchase. With them gone now for those who don't have the dlc, it is the same as taking content away. It only provides evidence to my theory that bungie us trying downgrade you're experience without TTK to convince those who don't have it to buy it.

That's not true. The original game did not come with any of that. It was added. Regardless of not coming with a dlc they still were not accessable when you bought the game. You bought the rights to the original game. All the other free content you mentioned is a gift.
