Same reason they don't wipe us off the face of the earth.
And the hive stole the moon first, and the vex either can't or won't or don't care to eliminate the hive.
Or the traveller destroyed what networks all existed originally and the vex could ever only put back the ones they did.

Yup, people keep thinking Crota made them or something and it's really annoying. The real question is why the vex can't delete it won't delete either from time.

Crota didn't make them, he released them. Allowed them to access our worlds after he cut a keyhole with his sword

While the Vex have strong paracausal abilities and ontological weapons and gates that lead to alternate dimensions, the Hive have many things too. The Hive have the sword logic, the power of the worms, the backing of their gods and the Deep, and throne worlds where they are nigh impossible to kill

Just got through the book. Sounds like the vex can't delete them because of what you've listed.
