This is the very reason for ToA's, disclaimers, and LuL's regardless of how harsh they may appear once reviewed...if any member of the community kicks up a stink, you'll simply be directed to these documents to read and what all of use ultimately signed up to...I'm imagining 99.9% of all Destiny Guardians didn't even read the ToAs before selecting "accept"...pretty much the same every time we have to complete a console system update....I know I never did! The issue everyone has is how morally wrong it "feels" to those who still have not purchased TTK...and for some that have. As an individual logging on without TTK expansion i must admit it did sting a bit to have less to do and to view my friends list to see all of them playing TTK...it's a hard fact but business and morality rarely go hand in hand...and ultimately it's the business's choice to change their stance on these matters...if Bungie was to re implement the vanilla PvE and PVP content later down the line...they'll be cheered for having morals and a conscience to those less fortunate, but until that time....please refer to the ToAs and LUL's.
I get both sides of the argument...and will be purchasing the TTK simply because as an individual i think it's worth it...and ultimately my choice!.
