This is still Destiny 1, and features are locked out when people previously paid for the right to play them.

You're still looking at it with the mindset of how other games operate, I think. That's what I'm saying. You can't do that. Well you can, but you shouldn't. I think that's what's causing this perceived issue with players. Destiny "1" is just not meant to be stand alone. I can guaruntee Bungie didn't make it expecting you to be able to just play vanilla and nothing but vanilla, 2, 4, or even 10 years from now. It's just not meant to be that way. Like I said, I'm pretty sure their plan was either you play until it ends, or you just quit.

If you did not pay for the rights to play the content of Taken King, you are not "entitled" to it.

and I don't care to play TTK content. I want the content and modes I previously owned to be able to play. How is that hard to understand? I am most certainly entitled to that.
-
The stikes and PVP maps and all of the old content is still there. The "playlists" have updated to be Taken King. It is not like the Dust Palace disappeared off the map. All of your old content is still playable. But by not buying Taken King, you have told Bungie you are no longer interested in their newer content.

what don't you understand about the fact that features were removed?
-
What do you not understand about that fact that you did not pay for the expansion, so you are not entitled to all of the content?

I am entitled to the features I had taken way, that I previously paid for the right to play. I don't expect to get the new content.
