This is kinda my own doing out of stupidity but also a little bit out of necessity. I've just gotten to the Crucible quest where you have to fight clash matches for Future War Cult. Now I'm a Dead Orbit guy, I have no real interest in the other 2 factions. I've only ever levelled Dead Orbit, but am I correct in thinking that you have to pledge to the other factions to do these quest?
Because I just pledged to FWC (there's the necessity part). I then went to have a go at the clash matches then realised actually, I don't want to tackle that yet until I get some more practice in, I can hold my own in the Crucible but I don't usually win a clash match. So I decided to go and change back to DO. Obviously, you can only change once a week so it wouldn't let me. I didn't read the quest text fully. It's late, I'm tired, I'm an idiot (that's the stupidity part!).
This has annoyed me slightly though as I now can't level the one faction I want to because of 2 Crucible matches. Anyone else think there shouldn't be a limit on how many times you can change? I mean, all you had to do before was switch cloaks. If you want to complete this quest chain, you have to forfeit 2 weeks worth of rep for a faction you actually want to level. Just seems a bit harsh! I've got to wait till weekly reset to get my rep gains again. Thats several days of wasted rep right there . . . It's put me off playing a bit.
