Dead Orbit accepted the same currency. Also, we accepted Shaxx's preferred currency because the Crucible is viewed and Enjoyed by those who dwell in the City. The more that people see those bearing our symbol, the more supporters we gain and the more resources we collect. We do reward you for going out and completing missions for the Betterment of the City, but the Vanguard held exclusive rights to their marks. As for Dead Orbit, I ask you... Do you truly know the people you are fighting for? They have been proven to keep discoveries for themselves, and steal resources from other factions, so they can flee instead of fight.
