WHY EVEN HAVE A FEEDBACK FORUM??? [TAKE TWO~] Cosmo? DeeJ?

So I'm still working on the two posts that people keep asking me about, wondering when I'll be getting them up. Just to clarify, this is not either of them. THIS post is actually a recurring thought that keeps coming to me the more I keep reading the forum. People who generally follow me know that I spend less time making posts and more time responding to the posts of others and show them support. That being said? I really gotta ask this question for the second time now. I made a post about this MONTHS ago which was at the center of a whole ridiculous matter in its own right. (No reason to further expand on all of that, but for anyone interested feel free to shoot me a PM or whatever) So yeah, why does Bungie even bother having a Feedback Forum? I mean, if anyone gives negative feedback they tend to get attacked by others. Or you'll get the fans who respond to you acting like they are from Bungie and think they can speak on their behalf. To be quite frank, I'm rather astonished that the Community Managers don't address these people who are literally acting as if they represent Bungie. But its whatever, I guess. That in itself isn't the actual point of this post. No, the BIG THING I'd like to focus on is the general disregard for major topics. And by major I mean MAJOR, as in you're seeing it come up just about everywhere or its such a huge subject that Trending is dominated by it. I mean, how big exactly does an issue need to be before there is something actually done about it? And I've seen crap recently like on Forbes or on here from people who say that its just the "vocal few" standing out in the forums. But what I fail to understand is how does ANY OF THAT possibly take away from the value of what is being said? Do you REALLY need there to be millions of people signing off on a petition or all posting about the same thing to finally decide that what is being said actually matters? MAJOR TOPICS IN QUESTION... 1: Optional Matchmaking for Endgame Content. 2: Year 1 Legendary and Exotic Weapons/Armor Continued Ascension. 3: Unfair Pricing for UK Players. 4: The Removal of Year 1 Content and TTK Paywalls for Non-Buyers. 5: Lack of Rewards/Service/Benefits for Year 1 Players REGARDLESS of having TTK or Not. 6: Content Licensing Transfer Issues. (Most recent from what I've heard/seen) Bare in mind, this list actually keeps growing. The only item that has been checked off of it is the "Lack of Vault Space" topic but that's it. Originally, you didn't have NEARLY these many problems to deal with, and yet every month it feels like there's just more being added. There's no reason for me to get into each individual topic here. The thing I'm trying to bring attention to is that it shouldn't matter if its ONE PERSON or a MILLION. Each and every complaint has a valid point. Every piece of feedback should be important and SHOULD be addressed or acknowledged. I mean, I would love it if Cosmo and or DeeJ could please explain the entire process to the community. You tell us that you're listening and that you're bringing these matters to the attention of the developers, but what exactly does that mean? Does ALL the feedback get addressed? Do you (Cosmo/DeeJ) advocate on our behalf so as to represent us to the rest of Bungie? When bringing these topics up to the Development Team, do you convey the same argument/points that we're presenting? Do you give them the links to our posts on here? Is this something that is constantly being made a priority for Bungie or do you all just convene once or twice a week to discuss Player Feedback? If our feedback gets shot down by the team, do you keep pushing the point with them or is it just case closed? Basically, we want to know more about what it is you are personally doing with all of this feedback. TTK is by and large the result of Player Feedback. That much is obvious. So that proves the point that something is at least being done with our input. But then if that is the case, then what is the deal with the really BIG topics?

 • Ok, I think that it is pretty clear. They do want to know what we are thinking. They have Psych department, and what they read helps them make determinations by comparing them with the data from the game. They want people addicted and this forum helps. The other reason is that they have a Dev department, and they want people to give them ideas about what to add, or do with the game and what better way is there than asking those that are into the game. They give ideas, the devs can use those ideas and never have to pay royalties, or anything except a few dollars a year for the domain and website.
