The reason Bungie stated they patched the last loot cave is that they said players would have had the same/better benefits if they just played the game through. Without a trade system I don't see why it's a problem. Is this a moral issue for you? For Bungie? Maybe next time I go into crucible I get lit up by an exotic someone wouldn't have without the farm, but that's on me. It will essentially make me a better player going against tougher opponents. Personally I'd say leave it alone.
-
My opinion its not cheating. Its kinda cheap but that's on bungie as of right now.
-
Generally indifferent but if they nurf the drop rate for 3 of coins I will be disappointed it. I have used 4 so far just playing strikes & it has done nothing for me. If they add a cooldown like ammo synth. Then it's fine farm away!
-
I believe farming is a fundamental, natural, and necessary function. How else would we get the food we eat? This was a terrible post. 2/10.
-
Meh I'll play the game how I want and others will play how they want. That being said I'm not engram farming but I can see the appeal. I just want to play and maybe get some cool loot instead of grinding the fun out of it.
-
Well three of coins is different they know what it would and wouldn't work on the whole point is so we can get drops and control them more. They succeeded I don't think they didn't expect this. The loot cave was different it was a spawn point with astronomical drop rates for nothing not only that there system was completely different we do still need legendary's

So many awesome Year 2 exotics are hidden behind cool quests (Chaperone, Swords, Class Items...), I feel like this whole farming thing is really just a shortcut to getting our old gear back in reset form.
-
Metaphorically speaking.......I'm John -blam!-en Deer! And loving it!
-
Actually Bungie said they patched the loot cave because people were reporting farmers and people who just sat by the cave and blocked the spawn. They knew about it before launch.
-
I say leave it and let players have some serious variety with drop exotics. Always great to see different builds.
-
When they came up with the three of coins, I honestly don't see how they didn't see this coming a mile away. It was my very first thought when I read what tent were.

Its not a glitch, it's kind of an exploit. Really though its a lapse in judgement on bungies end, they should have seen this coming a mile away.
-
What do you mean by farming? Cause right now loot cave is a stupid idea when you can run the scourge of winter on Venus get the boss to a sliver and blow yourselves up grab then engrams Pop another coin and repeat. Most players who have played since the alpha/beta/day one use these little glitches for some gear it's the ones who abuse it that ruin it for everyone else.
-
Yawn.
-
I'm fine with it. After the last year of RNG -blam!-ing me over its nice to have a reprieve that doesn't come once a week.
-
This whole game is a farm. Why else would someone run vog or crota 20+ times? People are just salty right now because it's happening faster than intended. Eventually people will run out of coins and everything will return to normal.
-
They gave us a way to legitimately get higher drops for exotics. Since people abused it, it will be nerfed some way, thus ruining it for players who chose not to. It really doesn't bother me that much but the ignorance is strong in #destiny. With the exploiters "playing their way", they've effectively, when the nerf comes, ruined the idea of the item for people who use them as intended. But who really cares. Xur comes every week and the drops have already been 3x better just playing than pre-TTK. I just wish people would get through their thick heads that playing their way can effect the way others have to play.
