ROSSKAYA, The Tundra
7:32am
Light trudges through the deep snow, not struggling much. He only had a leather jacket as protection from the biting cold, but he didn't mind; the nipping of frost at his skin made him feel alive. His collapsible compound bow was swung over his shoulder, quiver of 6 arrows on his back. "Today,", he thought, "I'm going to go hunting. And today... I will sell the meat, and make some honest money.". His silver hair blended in, reflecting the blinding light of the sun just like the banks of snow. Trees crowded the area, and he silently made his way around, keeping an eye out for any wildlife whatsoever, so that he could bring it back for some credits. He went hunting with his father before he died, numerous times, and knew the ins and outs. The leather jacket was his father's, and he never dared to let it out of his sight. It was the only thing he had left of him besides his notes. He spotted deer in the distance, and crouched down behind a log. Peeking over, he gauged the distance. 200.....200m. He'd have to get closer.
Slowly moving along the ground, careful not to step on branches or leaves, he starts his approach. 150m.........125m......75m. He was close enough to deliver the shot, but he wanted to get a bit closer. Noticing the deer perk up a bit, he stopped. There were 5, and he was going for the one that was middle in size, since he'd have to carry it home. Slowly, he came up beside a tree, and leaned a bit to catch a view. Slowly pulling an arrow from the quiver, he set it, and pulled back. "Steady.... steady...."
He slowed his breathing, and concentrated. With one last exhale, he let the arrow fly.
THUD!
The arrow hit the deer right in the neck, straight on. The arrow, jammed in it's neck, flailed around as it tried to run, alerting the others as they ran away. But the deer stopped moving suddenly, and it collapsed, falling still. "A shot to the neck, you hit the spine, all nerve function yields...", he mumbles to himself, coming out from cover. The deer lay there, it's blood over the ground, sprayed from it's small struggle. Light pulled a knife from his belt, and looked the deer in the eye. "You're going to make a lot of people happy, just to have you to eat. Imagine that, I wish I was like you. Dying to let other's live. But, my friend, you won't go to waste...", he said to the animal, before slitting it's throat. The blood poured onto the white snow, now tainted with red. He sighed, cleaning his knife, and taking his arrow back and cleaning it as well. With a loud grunt, he hauled the deer up onto his back, standing up from a kneeling position. "Damn.... should've..... picked..... the smaller......one.....", he grunted, walking back towards civilization. Maybe someone would buy this off him, and he'd at least have some funds.....

Light walks into the back of a nearby butcher's shop, deer blood dripping down his body. He manages a smile, and looks to the nearest man.
Mind buying this off me? I could use the coin, and I'm sure you could use the meat, too.
((Open for primarily narration from admin, but talking to anyone else is good too))

Elizabeth: "Aren't you sure he deserves a tiny more" -The trio enter the shop-

He looks surprised to see them. Oh... h-hey there guys.

How are you all doing?

He nods That's good. I'm just trying to make an honest living with what I do best.
-
Theron: "What happened to hacking"
-
He shrugs No one has any open jobs for hackers at the moment, so I decided to go hunting. I think I shoot just as good as I hack: able to calculate on the fly, and observe things from every angle, just like hacking.
-
Licanis: "cool"
-
He nods, avoiding eye contact. Licanis still scared him, but there's nothing he could do about it. It'd just take time. Ya, so what are you guys doing here?

All three: "Getting meat"
-
When and if I get my second feat, THAT will be it -.-*
He sighs. Good enough, then. I might do more hunting in the future, I'll bring it here if I can.

He nods and sends you the credits. "Tell you what, hunt me the pack of wolves that have been messing with my merchandise and I'll pay you 2,500 credits."
-
Edited by Alonfé: 9/20/2015 3:22:35 AMHe looks to you, excitement in his eyes. R-really? 2,500?!?! I'll do it!!! Where were they last? ((700 + 725 = 1,425C))
-
He nods and smiles at the boys eagerness. "They were seen In the edges of the woods near my shop. I hope you can track them down because they have been taken my goods."
