My problem is not buying new content, it's the price of being a y1 player and wanting to be a y2 player...
It's too much unfortunately... I mean a y2 player can pay 60 in Ireland right now.
Me, a y1 player, paid 100...
Essentially if I want to become y2 I need another 40...
This basically means a y2 player gets what I got for 20...... That stings a little too much to continue when I can get a few hundred more hours out of something else for 40-60 and never have to think I paid 140 total for this... It's value for money... If I was a starting y2 player having never paid or played this before that would be excellent, I would still feel bad for anyone paying so much for not a lot compared to other games which arguably and subjectively could be considered "better"

The price of being a y1 player is higher for just that reason: you are a y1 player. You get to have played this game for a year now. Of course it's going to be cheaper to dive in now, such is the case for literally every game ever. Games almost always release with a "special edition" a year or so after release, which will contain all of the content released for a price of around $60. Thats just the reality.

This! You played for a year its time for game of the year edition! Duh if you really expect them to charge year 2 newbs to pay 140$ your nuts! That's just bad business practice and I don't mean bad as in wrong I mean bad as in they wouldn't make money. Everyone seems to think this is their hobby or something. Yes for most of them its a dream job but they are doing it to pay the bill not to make us happy.
