Would anyone still do the older raids?
I'm just wondering if anyone still bothers doing VoG or Croata's End? I'd understand if the majority opinion was "no" since most of the gear probably doesn't do much for anybody that's at endgame now, but I'd think it'd be fun to try and breeze through them at lvl 40.
EDIT: Glad to see the response is mostly in favour of still doing them. Lot of people, like myself included, are still hungry to try and find the last few pieces of gear for their collections. Hopefully this gets a lot people interested, since each raid can only be looted once per week, and I'd be bored as shit myself constantly waiting on King's Fall if I complete it early on.
Edit 2: Forgot to throw this in, but my gamertag is the same as my name for people looking to hook up on 360.

I still need the ship from Skolas so i'm going to do that at some point this weekend and definitely will do VoG at some point, for me VoG is still the pinnacle Destiny experience.

Me and my group did Crota and it was the most fun I've ever had. I stood at the 1st bridge with Stormcaller active and melted anything that came my way. We used HoS as orbital air strikes to kill the ogres during the 2nd bridge. To top it all off, we killed Crota in one sword and just couldn't stop laughing.

8 RepliesI did Crota the other day on hard. He was light level 160 I think and...I can confirm for a fact that light does increase damage done to enemies. You can down Crota in one sword by taking him down twice. I was light 292 at the time :3

I've been posting constantly on LFG for a group. I'm about to the point of having to try and find a clan that actually wants to run all raids new and old. Sadly I had to resort to sharing all of my old raid gears from year one. I needed glimmer that bad. Yes I use the old raids as my glimmer source, as well as my source for more of light.
