[b]Once their backs are turned he points his gun at dusk. Right in the back of her head.[/b] [i]"Kate's not dead. I can't do this. Not yet."[/i] [b]He holsters it and walks away.[/b]

"To make them think she was dead however doing this also involved me wiping her memory of you unfortunately and taking away her ability to speak"
