I don't think I have that quest. I'll have to check.

I was of the understanding it was automatic for the first character you logged in with after launch. May be worth checking the completed / abandoned quest terminal.

I got on my Hunter, my first character, and got nothing. I'll check the Abandoned Quests tomorrow. I have no time as of right now.

Make sure you delete your old gaurd shader/emblem/sparrow if you got it the day before the dlc... if you picked it up a day early it bugged the quest so you have to delete them to get it

No, but my friend only had one of the dlcs, but not the other.

That's why I think you need to have both or one of the dlcs to get it
