I never enjoyed the Sunbreaker, as it brings almost nothing to a team other than damage compared to the Defender.

In pve its designed to just Burn away (sorry for pun) health bars with things like sunspots and melting point. You're right that it doesn't really bring anything to team play but neither does something like bladedancer and voidwalker to be honest.
