Striker was not underwhelming in PvP, I just can't agree with that. I have played all 3 over 6 characters, and I never had a problem with the Titan in PvP, shoulder charge is beast, the lightning grenade can be brutal and let's now even talk about FoH that can one shot people through walls and 20ft in the air. I always felt like warlocks were the trickiest to play as in PvP, until now with their Jesus storms...

  • Perception Bias. How many times a game does a person actually get to use the Shoulder Charge? Because Bungie looked at those stats, they decided against nerfing the shoulder charge

  • It really depends on the game mode. In FFA not that often from what I remember, but in game modes like control, where you know the expected routes and chokepoints, it gives you time to run there and charge up so to speak. And it's not a bias, it's an opinion based on playing as a Titan. Nothing more, nothing less.

  • Yeah they have some nice little tricks, but their movement just isn't anywhere near as agile. Funnily enough I always felt like Titan was more agile when I played it than my warlocks, If I want to play a certain style, I can usually do it with both titan and hunter, but I have to adapt a little more on my warlock.

  • lol, well you can't say it's not fun to have a melee which has great range and supplies a shield on the first hit...

  • That's the point. It's an insanely powerful ability.

  • I wouldn't say insanely powerful, I rarely struggle to wash up warlocks in PvP... it's titans i struggle against the most, or a mix between titans and blade f*ggots with blink. Thinking about it, the only time I struggle a bit with a warlock is when they're using blink/shotty, but they don't seem as deadly as hunters with the same thing because of the speed.

You clearly didn't play Trials of Osiris. Right now, everyone is playing the new subclasses because they're new.

Yeah by the time I got back to the game ToO was dominated by thorns (which I never had) and I didn't really have a reason to play it. I tried it once with randoms who didn't speak English but it didn't go well. It's funny, I have people on my list who went flawless every week in trials, and yet when they play crucible they get destroyed, or if they have a good game, it's nothing spectacular, just average. That's when I realised trials is less about individual skill, and more about group communication/organisation. oh, and character build

  • is that why your stats are much worse on your titan compared to warlock & hunter?

  • Well, in fairness I've had this profile for all of 3 weeks, and played more on my hunter. And my Titan actually has the best statistic of all 3 characters... #29 in the world for Best Game Score average for that class... Maybe you look at irrelevant stats like K/D, Idk... But I look at actual statistics which matter and show your performance in games... and going from the SPGA, my Titan has the highest average game score, and ranks at the 29th highest in the world for Titans.. which puts me #50 in the world across all 3 characters.. maybe try harder next time?

average game score is BS if you play control you will have a higher average than if you play clash by default due to more points to be had not to mention if you play mayhem average game score has more to do with your playlist than it does skill

  • Actually, it's not BS. There are millions on this game, who play all types of game modes, just like I do.... Don't try to make excuses just because you can't get into the top 100 on any game, there's hundreds of thousands of people that play mayhem, so why aren't there that many ahead of me in average game score? Because skill always plays a factor, If I'm putting up 30K+ games in mayhem, or 6K+ games in control every game, it's inevitable that I will have a high average game score, and that's because I've got the skill to maintain high scores. Average game score is basically what SPM was in battlefield, only the top tier players were able to maintain a high SPM and it was a skill that most of the "high K/D" bums could not have because they camped too much and wasted time, thus lowering their score per game just so they could have a precious high KD. I prefer to have impact on my games. Don't be salty just because you were proven wrong.

bc like you said, its a new account therefore if you play mayhem you will get a higher avg score much easier than people who were playing other playlists for a year you are just proving your ignorance with your statements. avg game score is irrelevant in Destiny

Newer account or not, it's still played enough games, and variations of games for mayhem to be largely irrelevant. Otherwise I'd be running round with 1 game played only mayhem and an average score of 39K. Average game score, Highest score, weapon choice & MVP ratio tells you more about a player than K/D Unfortunately, there isn't a lag game %, I think mine would be around 90%. Anyway, pretty sure I said it takes skill to MAINTAIN a SPGA... First of all, to get into the top 50 in that category you need to have the ability to put up some really monster games, but Mayhem hasn't been around for over a week and I've still been PvPing and I'm still maintaining a top 30 spot. That's all higher than my Warock/Hunter, and your original point was that I played worse on my Titan than my warlock and hunter, which clearly isn't the case. I also have another PSN with 1 of each character from the old days, but I let that go a while back.
