Having been a member of this site for seven years, I've had plenty of memorable experiences with Bungie through both Halo and on these forums. Occasionally I'll see something that just triggers a flood of nostalgia, and I love it. So, my question is: throughout your time with Bungie, what has been your favorite nostalgia inducing memory?
Mine's hard to pick. It might be creating the group Mythic Photographers on here back in like 2009. Groups seem to be kinda dead, but going through messages with the old moderators and admins brings back good times. Other than that, I'd say anticipating the release of ODST. I was in 7th grade when that released, so I was a wide-eyed kid awing over the mix-up from classic Halo gameplay at the time. I never really appreciated the game that much after it dropped, but looking back now, I think it was great. That was triggered by me seeing someone with a superintendent avatar on here.
Wasn't Mythic Photographers featured here on Bungie.net a few times? I kind of enjoyed taking Screenshots myself back in the day, and I think I remember seeing that name around a few times.
For me, it'd definitely be going back and checking out all the old B.net Minecraft and Terraria groups and servers I played on. Or any time anybody talks about Easter Eggs or skulls from the Halo games... I was a Mod in the old Reach Secrets groups, lots of good times there.
Bungie.net is so different than it was a few years ago, though, and since groups aren't as big as they were, I don't seem to be getting too much nostalgia shots these days...
