This is like saying you bought Call of Duty 4 when it released and a year later you can't afford Modern Warfare 2. Both, albeit games from the Call of Duty franchise, are separate games. After a year new features are implicated and upgrades are made. This is the same thing. Also keep in mind that you are dealing with Activision here. You had a long long time to save up the $40 so I don't know why you didn't. I still suggest you do though because it is worth it if you love Destiny.
