"This is nice." He looks around admiring the architect of the Tokyo restaurant.
-
She grins. "it is." She orders a glass of sakè and yakatori. "Big on Japanese food Etana?"
-
"It's great, What do you think about it?" He orders Pho and some tea
-
"I guess your driving huh? Sorry, I wouldn't have ordered alcohol. It's just been a long day." She starts fiddling with the mans chain around her neck, one that doesn't look like it belongs on a woman.
-
"It's all right, I have some drinks at home." He looks at the necklace "Is that yours?"
-
She smiles sheepishly. "Uhh, no. It isn't. It was my trainers. He gave it to me. Something to remember him by, you could say. It's not what your thinking though. He was like the dad I wished I had."
-
"I see. Who was the guy if you don't mind me asking?"
-
She looks sad when she talks now. "Jonathan Rorik. Human, the inventor and the only user of the Santoryu style. Until he taught me."
-
"I see, where is he now?"
-
You see tears at the corners of her eyes, and her voice cracks but she tries to remain calm. "He's dead. Heart attack. And he was only 40. I didn't understand. Still don't."
-
He puts his hand over hers to comfort her. "I'm sorry for your loss Trinity."
-
"Don't be sorry. It isn't your fault. I appreciate it all the same." She tries to divert the conversation. "Oh, here comes our food." She smiles as the waitress sets it down.

-
She smiles. "Agreed." They start to eat their food, and she chimes in. "I got my new swords today. Well, two of them."
-
"Ahh how are they? They what you expected?"
-
"They were made perfectly." She shows him a picture on her tacpad. http://i53.tinypic.com/34zljjn.jpg
-
He looks at it. "Whoa, they look awesome."
-
she smiles. "Deadly. I just need a third to use. Haven't decided on what yet."
-
"Well there plenty of options. You can make another custom sword, just buy another one or I could give you one of my old ones."
-
"Really? I kinda figured the only one you had was the Red Katana."
-
"I have others I used in the past before I had the red katana. Maybe three of four other swords before I make the red katana mine."
-
"Are they just simple blades or?" You can see she's intrigued when swords come into conversation.
-
"Define simple."
-
"Like a simple katana. No special forging, just a steel katana. Complex, Lance's sword." She visibly shudders at this.
-
"They aren't as complex as Lance's but they aren't simple either."
