Thank you I was getting confused by this it is making sense now. So they were basically asked to achieve the same thing the hive were told to do and the Hive didn't like it to much.

It seems that way. It doesn't quite explain why Oryx's servants never tried to "take" the Ahamkara for Oryx before we hunted them down, but it explains most of it. It may also explain why the Ahamkara bones speak to us; the first Worm Auresh (the Proto-Hive who would become Auryx, then Oryx) and his sisters found was dead, but still spoke to them clear as day. I believe it said "Oh vengeance mine" or something at one point.
