Any use to level gunsmith past rank 1?
As title says, whats the point behind rank 1? I placed an order right now.

He gives you a class specific weapon at ranks two and three, also you can place three orders at rank three.

He gave me a good legendary weapon for ranking him up.

3 RepliesI m rank 3.5 on my hunter. Rank 2 i got a legendary 280 sniper. Rank 3 i got my ace of spades. Exotic hand cannon.

At rank 3 YOU get an exotic quest that gives a class exclusive exotic

Rank 3 give you the easiest exotic you can get.

At rank 2 you get a quest for a class specific special weapon. (Shotgun for Titan, fusion for warlock and a sniper for hunters). Then at rank three you get another for a class specific exotic primary (hand cannon for hunters, scout for warlocks and an auto for Titans). I have the hunter ones on my hunter now.

Rank 2 gives you a quest for a class specific legendary gun and rank 3 gives you a class specific EXOTIC gun

Rank 2 and 3 have bounties to complete. Rank 2 has a Legendary Special Weapon as an award (Fusion Rifle for Warlock, Shotgun for Titan, and Sniper Rifle for Hunter). Rank 3 has an Exotic Primary Weapon as an award ( Tlatoc for Warlock, Fabian Strategy for Titan, and Ace of Spades for Hunter). Also, the higher your rep is, the more orders you can put (up to three I believe).

There are exotic bounties for when you hit rank 3. You get a different weapon for each class

Rank 2 and rank 3 each give you class specific weapons when you complete the quests. The one you get from rank 3 is an exotic primary

At rank 3, the Gunsmith gave me an exotic quest and a 295 pulse rifle.

Here you go: At each Gunsmith Rank, he will award you with a random weapon in a package At each Gunsmith Rank (Might be capped at 3) you will get another Arms Day purchase At Rank 2, the Gunsmith will give you a class-specific legendary weapon quest. The Stillpiercer for Hunters, the Susanoo for Warlocks, and the Immobius for Titans. At Rank 3, the Gunsmith will give you a class-specific Exotic weapon quest. The Ace of Spades for Hunters, the TLALOC for Warlocks, and the Fabian Strategy for Titans. It is also speculated that at Rank 5, the Gunsmith will give you the quest to get the First Curse which is an Exotic handcannon.
