It's 15. Looking at the newest wave of Campaign previews, some sites say the Locke canyony mission, titled
Swords of Sanghelios
, is two thirds of the way into the Campaign.
Other sites have said it's the tenth level. So my meagre arithmetic abilities tell me that puts H5 level with H2, ignoring intro cinematics and training 'level' Armoury, at 15 playable levels.
So, another H2 split? 8 levels with John and 7 with ... Wait. Was H2 13 playable levels?
H5 bigger than H2's space opera confirmed.

Halo games never did have long story campaigns - except for halo2. In fact, I think they got shorter

At a guess, I'm going to say the average level is going to be at least a little longer than Halo 4. Just based off the engagement zones I've seen and the general set up. I'm hoping for a long campaign. They've played off the dynamic of it very well up until now.

Well though it means very lil number wise the game is supposedly 2-3X longer then Halo 4. I'd say make each mission half as long as your usual Halo4 level and that will be about the length of the average mission in 5 so say a mission at a moderate run through of 30 mins (stopping to kill almost every enemy etc) and halo5's average mission length could be up to 45mins-1 hour. Either that or we will get roughly 20, 30 min long missions.
-
But this all depends on the actual size of the levels and how long it takes to complete the story. I just hope the campaign is a couple hours longer than what it was for Halo 4.

2/3 of the campaign would be the 10th level m8

Halo 4 was short, and this game will be short too.

Edited by Onxide: 9/24/2015 12:42:51 PMI think the last mission will switch between the two. The mission's name is actually Enemy Lines, not Swords of Sanghelios.

Your use of H in place of the word halo angers me.
