I believe Halo 5 is doing something like that. I think it's called Warzone.

Yeah you're right. It sounds really cool and I'm curious to see how it works and what other games will take after it.

Where one group of six protects the final boss of each raid, and another group of six must kill that final boss. (VOG, CE, KF when it gets easier)
