Destiny "Couch Co-Op"?
Couch co-op.
Also known as split screen.
Also known as one of the best things that could happen to Destiny, in my opinion.
What do you guys think? Should Bungie add a splitscreen mode, so you can play with a friend from the same console?
[spoiler]FYI.... All the big multiplayer games (COD, BF...) have them. Just something to think about.[/spoiler]

Nah, I'm fine without it. 28 years old now, so I grew up with it, but I honestly wouldn't like it for Destiny. And like the other poster said, it's not just flipping a switch and making it 2 player. The graphical quality would suffer tremendously, and the framerate might even drop, too. It's already at 30fps, could you imagine what it would be like any lower? Plus when on Patrols or anything, really, players would have to stay in the same portion of the map, severely curtailing any sort of exploration or "divide and conquer" tactics for patrol bounties. In short, it'd be too much of a strain on the current hardware.

2 RepliesRendering the entire area twice would cause too much strain on the console. It's not as simple as flipping a switch.
