1 Replyremember how they said that "Spartans never die, they're only missing in action"? its purpose, if you didn't know, is to ensure that troop and civilian moral is kept up, with the hope of the spartan 2's being immortal soldiers. why would ONI tell the human world that a spartan has died? it would crush the moral of nearly everybody.

3 RepliesYou surely are not a halo fan, if you believe chief is, or has died... This is oni's way of covering up that he's gone rogue. You can't have the universes most respected hero going rogue, that would destroy beliefs and how the public acts. His "death" is far more noble then his "betrayal". Hence why ONI has covered it up.
