I'm not bashing on Titans, I want to know what makes Sunbreaker a balanced sub-class. We know what makes Sunbreaker a "OP" subclass so my question to all of you is what makes it balanced.
Edit 1: Why is this being downvoted?
Edit 2: Some of you need to realize that I'm simply asking a question, nothing more.
-
Well the how is storm caller or blade dancer balanced? It's time Titans get an op class.
-
The subclass is pretty much built all around the super. Other aspects are not so strong.
-
It's being down voted because people are sick of these threads.
-
How was blink shotgun in year one balanced?
-
So many people keep trying to change the subject. C'mon people answer it and stop asking questions m8s.
-
Don't be too offended then if I say you main a hunter and have a level 2 Titan..
-
How was bladedancer balanced in year one?
-
Well let's see, The sunbreaker hammer, unlike the GG, has actual drop off, which means if you want to get long range kills you'll have to aim it like a grenade which makes it powerful in skilled hands and weak in unskilled hands. The health boost isn't as large as people think it is, most people complain about the health but in reality they got too close and got a hammer to the face before they could do enough damage, like with blade dancers, they might seem OP when they kill you so fast, but in reality all you need is to get some space between you and the super and you'll win.
-
If it gets nerfed it better be for PVP only.
-
It's balance point is in the middle top of the hammer part.
-
Balance? Well, the super isn't as long as people say, the tracking takes about five seconds to proc, and it can easily be avoided just by bunny hopping.
-
Why do people moan just make a Titan lol
-
Waited a year for this sub and now its too op?? WTF
-
You have a level 2 titan so....
-
I main a Hunter and please stop complaining about other classes who cares what a super can do true Hunters have good or at least Decent gun skill don't panic when you hear the hammer gong go hunt it and wow so what they may get 3ish kills we all put a few shots in him and he'll fall. And how many times can you really get hammered in one game if need be go play a,titan find out weak points and come back a d exploit them.
-
Soooo not balanced at all when it has the damage resistance of a blade dancer (even more if you spec for armour which most Titans do) has essential hungering blade on a ranged super so the only way you can win is with a high impact sniper head shot in a pinch and 90% they wi get a hammer off as well so you can hope for a trade at best. Same goes for nightstalker bow to shutdown as the teacher takes a second or two to kick in so again best you can hope for is a trade the sunbreaker will dominate trials and it will be gross as hell
-
Sunbreaker balances with Defender. Defender is utterly useless in crucible, while Sunbreaker does everything. See, we have created balance.
-
I die all the time in my super. But then again. I suck. And I don't play PvP other than to do quests. I don't see the problem with the new subclass. If more than one person is looking at me with a gun. I die.
-
Because Titans said so.
-
It's not balanced.
-
When you hear it activate... Run away, it has a short lifespan.
-
Everybody here bashing sunbreaker never played as one, try and see for yourself. You can be shot pretty easily in super, also you can waste it for nothing in big map. Its not that easy as it seems.
-
5 to 7 instakill hammers with health regen on a kill with it. I should get a health regen by running into a crowd frying thralls
-
The fact that Titans finally have something that makes them the slayer of the map. Now it must be immediately nerfed I say leave Titans alone

Edited by MacheteSquad: 9/27/2015 3:41:34 AMHammer of Sol is easily balanced on two fingers placed slightly below the head of the hammer on the shaft.
That is gonna be taken the wrong way isn't it? Phrasing
Sunbreakers better not get nerfed
