I'm not bashing on Titans, I want to know what makes Sunbreaker a balanced sub-class. We know what makes Sunbreaker a "OP" subclass so my question to all of you is what makes it balanced.
Edit 1: Why is this being downvoted?
Edit 2: Some of you need to realize that I'm simply asking a question, nothing more.
-
So what does make it OP? What makes it not balanced?
-
And another Hunter crying.
-
Down voting because whine
-
The super IS OP, and there's a reason for that, all the best subclass perks are geared directly towards the super, so the super is juiced up by 2-3 perk slots dedicated to it, which leaves the subclass a bit UNDERPOWERED outside the super (which is 99% of the game) outside the super they really have no good abilities, no shoulder charge, no blink, no invis, no overshield, no ranged melee, nada Think of it as game-long useful abilities were sacrificed to make the super better
-
The only thing that bugs me about the titan super is the massive armour the best way to avoid them....turn the other way
-
Edited by Aulakauss: 9/26/2015 5:18:40 PMIt's not as stupidly broken as people make it out to be, but for the amount of power it has, the armor buff is madness. I propose making the Super last about fifty percent longer and halving the armor buff. I think that'd be fair. They'd be killable within reason, but the trade would be a longer Super phase as compared to other 'carry it with you' Supers, Sunbreaker wears off pretty fast.
-
It cannot rapid fire with extended range and over penetrates like Golden Gun, has travel time like Nova Bomb. Using it doesn't allow you to go Invisible, There's no option to self-revive, Over shield only occurs IF you make a Sunspot AND stand in it.
-
It seems really well balanced. Otherwise it would not be so easy to throw.
-
Horrible cool down time.
-
Poor grenades Poor melee Poor jump No game supporting abilities Good super (all abilities tied to super)
-
I've never complained about supers but the titan is very strong in pvp. Last night it required 2 bow shots to take out a hammer of sol titan. The first shot only took out his armor..
-
By the hammer. It can't balance in the middle of the handle.
-
Well the weight distribution on the head of the hammer is completely balanced, that's what lets us throw them so far. Besides, what sun breaker wants unbalanced hammers?
-
Stormcaller seems even more nuts to me but I've yet use it to test it fully.
-
Edited by HyperDrive70: 9/26/2015 6:46:03 PMHammer of sol can't track u can just jump out of the way I do it all the time plus u guys have blink
-
From the handle
-
Well bungie calculated how many times Titans got screwed by shotgun/blink and blade dance and gave us the new super. Simple huh
-
Edited by nevergotgud: 9/26/2015 6:31:45 PMAt the centre of its mass
-
Titans had to suffer through golden gun and blade dancer this is there reward
-
Edited by ImmortalAbyss: 9/26/2015 1:22:05 PMLong range: check 1hko: check Instant shield on kill: check 8-10 hits: check Cause the ground to burn: check Melee with a burn that lasts 2s longer than any other burn: check Damage resistance: check Not op to me Nope. Nope. Nope.
-
Travel time and anyone being able to jump or run away, this isn't hard people. You're only gonna die to these things if you're out in the open just chillin. Your mobility is your only advantage
-
You can't ask these question when you have only 1 titan at level 2. It makes you look like a idiot crybaby.
-
This is not game designed around PVP so who gives a shit
-
Only downside to the super is speed. It does suffer in melee range in pvp outside of the super.
-
It is balanced, you have to aim to hit someone -every gunslinger ever
-
Because I can destroy that super with my nightstalker and take the Titan out with quiver lol
