"Yeah, you alright?"
He throws his cigar to the ground and steps on it, twisting his foot.
English
-
"Right as night, bean pole. Let's go."
-
He starts walking towards UN city, rifle in his hands.
-
"So, how was Astrid in bed?"
-
"Dude, what the -blam!-....." He chuckles a bit. "Good, I guess. No, her being Night really doesn't change much of anything."
-
"Well, that's good I guess. My only sexual encounter, ever, was with a Matriarch gone wrong. She really didn't care about who she fucked, and that's probably why she tried with me. Anyways, she wasn't OK with me sticking Matilda, my big-ass gun, on her spine."
-
That last part seems to anger him. "Where did you put your gun?"
-
"On the side, while I looked at it. I have sort of a gun fetish. But, God forbid! You think I would put a gun to a partner?"
-
"Ok. Sorry, that just sounded really messed up." He steps over a log, the ground underneath him moving as if he stepped on something. A squirrel comes running out from under foot.
-
"What's that?"
-
"Just a squirrel." He watches it scurry into a tree and keeps walking.
-
"Like nature?"
-
"Meh, more of a city guy, but I like to get out here every once in a while. You?"
-
I spend a lot of time in Unity. Used to the urban jungle. I don't really like nature that much, but you need to get connected to the rest of the world once in a while.
-
"Unity's always been my home. I grew up in the ghetto, but still respect this city."
-
"Me too. I grew up in New Austria, and when I'm not doing God-knows-what, I'm in Unity. I've always been there on my downtime, hanging out with my black market friends. I've only lived somewhere else when I posed as a woman in the Matriarchy, but ran away when I escaped execution."
-
"You got dressed in drag?" He starts laughing.
-
"For a job. I'm not proud of some of the things I do, but I have to get paid somehow."
-
He breaks down laughing. "At least in my job...." His laughing over takes him. Tommy slowly starts to regain his breath. "....we still have some respect."
-
"Yeah, and what's your job? What do you do to keep a house above you and food in your stomach.
-
"I work heavy security. If there's a political guy in town, I'm there with a rifle to protect him."
-
"Seems boring compared to mine. Albeit, safer and probably with health insurance, or any kind of insurance."
-
"Heh, my side job is a lot more fun and interesting."
-
"What is your side job then?"
-
He looks around for cops or any sort of authority. "You gotta be cool about this, alright? This is some serouis shit."
-
"A high duty guard having a shady-as-fuck side job? Who knew!?" "I work in the black market, as I have stated. Your secret is safe with me."
