You're right on that aspect, but still, using old weapons are always used as well. The Strangers Rifle is considered an old weapon, too. People use that, too. So yes, people use new weapons. But people also use old weapons.

Yes, they do. The perk spreads are superior and none of the new batch of weapons can compare in a toe to toe battle with the old gear. This has been shown many, many times since 2.0 came out. Pay attention.
