Honestly, they've supplied us with enough new gear to make the old gear obsolete anyways. Careful infusing and a bit of grinding for high light rare armor can make any legendary your top item. Yeah it's a little more work than etheric light, but it can happen more often than you get that material anyways. The raid is well designed with a need for communication. Also drops a lot of gear. Court of Oryx is fun, quests are fun, swords are fun and crucible is FINALLY fun lol. To be honest, it kind of just feels like you're hunting for reasons to complain about something. TTK is a lot of fun right now, and that's all you need in a game.
