LFG Raid posts have reached a new LOW
So as a person new to the raid ive been looking to find a raid group and I came across a disturbing trend. People with no experience are DEMANDING only to raid with groups that have experience. it goes a little something like this

Seriously? so now people without experience are demanding experienced raiders? no wonder no one will take new people in. if you don't have experience you shouldn't demand that you have a group that has beaten oryx. you are at the bottom of the barrel. take what you can get.

2 RepliesI'd say I'm a competent LFG player. I never make excuses. I messed up? It was my fault, not anyone else's. I never go in with an LFG team without knowing exactly what I need to do, but I won't boss the others around. I'll stay until it gets finished or life gets in the way. And I certainly won't kick after wipes, two or two hundred. But I will kick anyone who is rude/prude/blames everyone else.

It's been really weird with grouping up for the raid. My buddy and I posted a thread saying we were looking for 4 more to do the raid and we would take ANYONE. We kept having people bail because we hadn't done it yet. Made no sense.

I don't LFG unless recruitment is dead. But that's rare. If you post on recruitment it's easier to tell people off if they sound ridiculous

I barely use LFG, but picked up 1 guy at Oryx and honestly was impressed. Real chill dude, that even ran a fresh right after with us on our alts even though he was finished for the week. I think its just select groups that dont have the confidence unless they have more experience raiders in the group. My group on the other hand consistently beats Oryx first try so we dont mind bringing in 1 or 2 "noobs".

Nothing new. They probably just don't want their first time to take 7 hours. That doesn't mean they won't help others in the future. Don't get to butt hurt about the elitism lfg. Just make your own post.

Where you going? I don't have the buff yet" "But it said Death singers x10 on my screen " "Come back here stupid" "Does this mean we wipe?" " *Sigh* " *Everyone dies* ___________ "So we stand in the puddle and shoot at him?" "Yep" "Ok, sounds easy" "Lets do it" "Ok, I'm in the puddle" "What puddle we haven't shot the bubbles yet" "The big puddle around his fee...." ****HULK SLAM**** ****GUARDIAN DOWN****

I have a hard enough time to find people to get past golgoroth with me. I dont have any requirements. Just be 290+ but I think you kinda have to be at that level. But no one will ever join since I havent beaten the raid yet. Evem though its been like two weeks since the raid came out? Come on now!

Once me and my friends are comfortable with this raid we plan on inviting people in our group and doing the raid were gonna ask if they wanna join are clan if they do we're gonna set them up with some people in a group and if it doesn't work out well if a lot of people join we can just find them someone else. So far the first group is Joldox1 Slatch13 Tan-Boy15kb Juan_and_Only Woodchuck And me panda The second group we have Epic Pug and i think 1 or 2 more guys after that were gonna invite people to do kings fall one at a time and if they join TTK they will e grouped up with the second raid team Message me if you wanna join or you wanna do kingsfall i dont know the next time we will do it but it will be soon

When they ask for the emblem tell them you didn't have enough room in your inventory for it so you couldn't pick it up. Granted, you really shouldn't have to lie to people just to do the raid. One of my friends just got Destiny again(took it back before Dark Below), and I already know it might be difficult to find teammates that will help me take him through the raid, but I'll never tell someone that they can't raid with me because they don't have experience. Hell, I prefer to take people through the raid that have never done it, it's just a lot more challenging and fun.

used to be the same way except with people requiring that everyone have Gjallarhorn, and fopr trials they used to require that you have gone flawless a thousand times. i've just Learned that DestinyLfg is Full of This kinda Crap
