[b]A huge tentacle erupts from the ground and rushes at you, but slows to a near stop. When you attempt to react, your movements are just as slow. You notice Providence had drawn his sword.[/b]
"I hope it's kicked in by now... Jack? You in there?"
[b]He is moving normal speed, and talking to you.[/b]
"So? Chop the tentacle off i guess."
[b]He chops through the tentacle, but it doesn't break, just leaves a frozen hologram in the chopping motion.[/b]
"Wait wait wait..."
[b]The hologram disappears and he motions shoving you aside, leaving a hologram doing that instead, then leaves a hologram to chop the tentacle.[/b]
"Okay... This should work."
[b]Time seems to jump as he jumps from point to point at lightening speed, performing the two actions shown by the holograms in order.[/b]
[b]You are shoved to the side and the tentacle is cut. Time returns to normal.[/b]

[b]Jack sprints for the hole in the wall.[/b] [i]"What the hell happened?! Who was that?! What's the hell is happening?! So mans damn questions.[/i]

[b]After you and Providence make it, he sprints through, firing a white bolt of lightning at the entrance as he passes through. It collapses blocking the way they came.[/b] [???] "I told you not to come after me, and what do you guys do?"

He has a torn-off and coiled tendril on his left arm that resembles a shield, and a few torn-off tendrils wrapped together in the form of a holy, presumably where the white blade came from earlier.[/b] "Providence? Wait, have you guys found Red?"

[b]He gets up and dusts himself off.[/b]

*we start to walk* "Providence, talk to me, what's going on? Where's Red?" [Providence] "I- I- I-" "Spit it out." [Providence] "wha?" "Providence what the heck is wrong with you? Get hit with an EMP or something?" [Providence] "Who's providence?" "This isn't a time for games." [Providence] "Red... Is that me?" "GAH... I'm getting nowhere with you. What happened to him Jack?"

"He said that he got Amnesia, but he doesn't know how. I'm guessing it just kicks in ever now and then."

*Murph removes his red cape, revealing robotic structure underneath. His face was simply a facade.* "Looks like he took some nasty impact... You guys get in a fight with something else?"

"Really? That had to be nearly a mile drop... Seems something cushioned the fall, and the impact damage is nowhere near his head or memory banks. The only reason he would be acting up-" *he stays silent and stops in his tracks* "Don't. Move." [b]A large cloud of shadow starts to pass in front of them.[/b]
