Vuuuuummm...
Beowulf cruised his skiff through the Awoken carnage, surveying the debris and death that surrounded him.
He smirked beneath his Ether mask. Oryx knew what he was doing. It was honestly a shame that he was dead.
But with his downfall rose new opportunities. Namely, the Taken.
He had spent ten years in that pit. Ten years spent mastering the Hive's rituals so that he might survive. Ten years so that he might see the light of day again.
Those ten years opened doors which would have remained closed to him forever. He should thank the King's Baron.
But... It would be more fun to leave him to Al'ruuk. Watch him tear the Baron to pieces.
He had one objective— find the remnants of Oryx's blade, take a piece, and run.
The skiff arrived at the drop point. The hatch opened, and he and his crew of five Vandals and two Tracers fell to the ground.
Time to find that portal.

-
laughter is heard along with the screaming from hive and taken
-
Beowulf raises his Wire Rifle, aiming down the sights toward the sound.
-
a hive knight is killing taken and other hive, a quick glance at her chest area shows that it is larger and more rounded then other knights
-
"Larger and more rounded" ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
"Hmmmm..." Beowulf moves around the carnage, using it as a distraction to occupy the Hive, glancing back every so often.
-
hey, if you saw someone with that kinda chest, what gender do you think they would be?
the knight kills the last of the taken and breathes heavily (In the hive language) "Damn.... Living in the city has made me rusty, I need to fix that."
-
He stopped. A Hive was bad enough. A Wretched One, as well? One who lingered with the other Wretched? The hairless apes and their androids? He gave a low, bellowing growl, quiet but fierce. A Vandal turned... And tripped, landing on one of his war machines, the sound of bone and metal echoing across the Breach. He flinched and looked. If it saw, then the Eliksni would be a corpse.
-
the knight turns to them and facepalms "You could at least try to sneak up on me, not break your bones."
-
The growling turned loud and angry. He grabbed the Vandal by his head, squeezing and roaring as his skull popped like a melon and blood dripped from the new puncture wounds. Beowulf roared, flinging the corpse aside. "KILL HER!"
-
she laughs and before he can blink, two of the vandels and one of the tracer shanks are destroyed
-
Darkness flows through his hand, and she's engulfed by an orb of shadow, draining her light as he raises his weapon. "BURN, LIGHT-THIEF!"
-
"Idiot, I have no light, I see you have learned secrets that you shouldn't know."
-
He keeps his finger on the trigger, letting out a hearty chuckle. "Shouldn't know? Witch, I was born for these secrets which I 'shouldn't know.'"
-
"If so, how did you learn them?"
-
"That is of no concern to you." He lowers his gun. The Darkness fades. "I have wasted too much time here."
-
"Wow, you send your men after me and now you have to leave, you didn't even buy me dinner."
-
Edited by Wretched Cain: 9/28/2015 12:08:39 PMHe scoffs. "You are no threat, witch." He walks towards the Mausoleum, sniffing the air as the last two Vandals cautiously follow him.

she sighs and sharpens her sword "The fool is going to get himself killed."
