I stayed up wayyyyyyyy to Late today, crowd sourcing ideas on my stream in the Daily Heroic, The Promethan Code, to see if there was even a HINT of Sleeper Simulant anddddd, Nothing...Nada. Zip. Zero. Nothing. 200+ people, 6 hours, and dozens of REALLY good ideas, and we got jack shit to show for it BUT -blam!- it was fun.
This was the first time in a long time i felt like there was something we just couldnt figure out, (and maybe there still is) even as a community, but with some logic what it boiled down to was this.
The terminals are for Future content. The person that woke Rasputin after the Collapse was the Exo Stranger. She can travel in time and Exo's can live forever so during the Golden age, it makes since for the most sensitve and highly skilled operatives to go into Exo's
1. They auto-repair and can't die and keep "some" memories, Perhaps more and the exo technology just got faulty as it went along causing more memory loss.
2. The second fail-safe they had were their own Ghost, so they had 2 anti-death measures to keep them alive, as they were key memebers to making sure humanity survived a massive Galatic sized attack.
The people accessing the retina scanners dozens of times over a period of centuries? The Exo Stranger and her team, because she does have a team, remember? When is talking to them at one point in the early game. And because they are Exo's their eyes are preserved. The floor in the Omnigul room spins open that much you can tell, and a hatch pops open to let you in. I don't think this is related to Sleeper Simulant but who knows. Anyway, I'm about to pass out at my Keyboard. Later Guardians.
I think it's from those fusion rifles, I don't know how many you need, but if it was just an exp boost why would you turn it in like a quest, and why would he gain more dialouge for every one you turn in. Plus sleeper looks like it came from a warsat just like pocket infinity and the fusions are modeled after pocket infinity.
