I somehow doubt that considering the odds of him telling the truth here are incredibly low. This might drag on a bit, so the tl;dr is that he's most likely playing all of you like a goddamned piano. It doesn't have a blueprint slot until you get it. He's the only apparent case of an exotic with that hidden factor just dropping from RNG(he claims he just opened an engram) and not one more case has popped up since then. I saw someone on his thread suggesting he probably found something in The Coming War daily, which makes sense considering its looks, the aesthetic of the dodge, and even the word "garrison" in the name. There's been plenty of cases where people find something first and share it with everyone, and nobody else would have solved it quite so fast. Insula Thesauria and the Black Spindle are good examples, as soon as they were found the guys spread the word. What's to stop someone from doing the opposite? You'd normally think they'd be worried about the hate from everyone else if they rubbed it in, but let's say they told everyone it was just a random engram and didn't actually provide proof of such, only video of it in action. They'd be able to show it off as the first owner, and at the same time nobody would really get angry since they'd be thinking it was just random. This doesn't last super long because as more people burn through engrams with only crests to show for it and a second guy doesn't pop up it becomes increasingly suspicious, but it'll last long enough to bask before the method is found and he's not special anymore. The community is a bit too used to everybody being a team player. If this guy is legitimately keeping a secret here he needs a personal shoutout as an asshat from DeeJ in the next update.
