New titan and warlock supers need to be nerfed!
Hey Bungie,
I was playing crucible the other day and I noticed how strong the new titan and warlock supers are, so I figured I would make this thread to discuss this topic.
Firstly, they both have to much armor while they're super is activated. If you compare the amount of armor to a similar super in the bladedancer, they both have significantly more. I'm having a hard time wrapping my head around why this might be. I mean all three are mobile supers and the sun breaker has many of the same perks as the bladedancer in terms of healing after a kill, but the sun breaker can even get an over shield after a kill. I ran into an instance in a game of elimination where a sun breaker killed my teammate and gained an over shield, I then sniped him with a her benevolence and he still lived. Both the storm caller and the sun breaker can also live through I direct impact rocket. Now compare that to a bladedancer who still gets killed by a shotgun and it really doesn't seem fair, why would you clearly make the other two classes mobile supers better than the others? I always thought the reason why the striker and nova bomb (blanking on the real name) warlock had lots of armor was because they were defenseless while using they're super.
How much more OP the sun breaker is compared to the bladedancer is rediculuis. The sun breaker has a farther kill range, the blast radius on the hammers are crazy, and the hammers practically lock on to you. Yet on top all of that they still get more armor, Bungie is practically killing off the hunter. Some changes need to be made bungie.
P.S. Don't even get me started on the duration of stormtrance!

Storm trance takes some time to kill, you hold then button and wait 2 seconds. Titans can just spam it.

Titans and Warlocks can have a higher armor stat than hunters (at the cost of agility). So when you throw a Super on top of that it makes Sunbreakers and Stormcallers hard to bring down, The Bladedancer gets a significant agility boost with arc blade. In a one on one with a SB and SC if a Bladedancer tries to attack head first they will lose horribly, but if a Bladedancer uses its superior mobility to out maneuver and get better map positioning, the Bladedancer can easily win. As a Titan main I can tell you a good Bladedancer is hard to hit with a hammer As for the other 2 hunter classes, bows can shut down supers really quickly and GG can kill out of the range of both these classes.

1 ReplyI didnt even read it past the first paragraph. You wanna talk about OP, the night stalker is OP, instantly shuts down your super. Titan activated his hammer, threw like 2, one at a team mate and one at me after I launched my bow, shut down his super and he died. The hunters are still OP, if they get that hit, your super is done for and so are you. I main a warlock, it can be stopped with a shotgun and melee to the face

Really? Another crybaby. BD befote the gally nerf can take a direct hit and not die, a sunbreaker can die from a single radgasts fury rocket. I prolly spelled that wrong.

3 RepliesAs someone who mains a Titan, but has played Warlock and Hunter (my current Hunter is my 3rd Hunter, I kept restarting bc I got bored of his face): Yes, Sunbreaker needs a slight armor reduction. It, being a ranged super, should not have more armor than a Bladedancer. No, Stormcallers are ridiculously easy to kill as-is. They have less armor than a Bladedancer for sure. I've killed so many. Bladedancers can also survive a rocket. Having enough armor to barely survive a rocket is not new, nor is it OP. They can't be killed by one direct shotgun blast, it takes two or three, which should be a non-issue if you have auto-heal and any skill.

9 RepliesThere is nothing wrong with them. You can kill both supers with a sniper head shot I have done it plenty of times and I have been killed plenty of times after activating my super.

2 RepliesYou clearly didn't read up on any of the Sunbreaker. The subclass 100% relies on it's super. Overshield? Because the hammers we throw have an option to make a sunspot. We get an overshield when we stand in it. The hammers lock onto you? Thats because its a perk for it. Heal? We have to take off sunspots to be able to heal. You're a Hunter. Use Nightstalker to shut down supers. That shit is strong as hell.
