In response to many people giving hate to many semi-religious posts, I'd like to offer my point of view to those who are attacking the poster or leaving negative feedback.
Firstly, let me start off by stating that I am agnostic. The reason I say this instead of Atheist is because atheism is, by definition, being against having a religion. To me, thats a horribly negative thing to apply to someone.
Now dont get me wrong, there are plenty of atheists out there that just say "i dont believe in god and thats it" and move along with their day.
To my first point:
Atheists who challenge others' religious posts are just as bad as those they are challenging.
Hear me out here. You're yelling at them for imposing their views upon you, telling them to get out of places their views dont belong in.
But tell me this: Who invited yours? Who asked for your anti-religious opinion? No one. If youre sitting there yelling "GRAHH IM ATHEIST I HATE YOU" in someone's religious thread, you're worse than them. You're willingly responding to something you dont like. They didnt force you to do that.
On to the second point:
Ive never met a kind atheist who would argue logically with any religious person.
Yes, Ive seen agnostics make good arguments, which is the entire premise of the Agnostic beliefs (or lack thereof). Theyre in the middle. They acknowledge that there is no proof to either side. They know that its possible that a higher power may exist, and they know thats its possible that one doesnt as well. Theyre willing to see both sides of the story.
Now, I understand that many religious people are stubborn when arguing as well. But how does arguing back against them make you any better a person, whether the atheist or the religious are the stubborn one?
I used to consider myself atheist, but the viciousness of the atheist community has turned my to consider myself agnostic. I refuse to be part of such a toxic group that refuses to even consider themselves as possibly wrong. I strive towards scientific explanation, but until either side is proven wrong or right, I will ride straight down the line between the two.
Point Three:
Why do you care?
If youre so certain that god does not exist, what business is it to you that you go around trying to tell everyone they are wrong? Do you really think your singular opinion will change their entire faith and how theyre going to live their life? They made their choice and they obviously enjoy believing what they do. What right do you think you have to try and change what others believe in?
Atheists need to ask themselves, "Is this perspn affecting me in any way?" without simply saying "This person said jesus they are harming my right to freedom of religion." Thats not true and you're just sounding like an ignorant idiot.
And lastly:
I understand some religious people are pushy.
Trust me, I know. Some people sit there and tell you youre going to hell for eternity because you ate that french fry. Itll happen. They're not good people either. So why do you want to be like them? Be the better person. Thats not a religious saying, thats a common sense one. You can be atheist all you want but you are no better of a human being if you fight fire with fire. Youre ruining your own cause by attacking.
That concludes my rant, and again, I know that many atheists do not act this way and you are the true silent heroes. History only remembers the bad bunch of people, while the good is hidden in the background.
I thank you for staying quiet about your beliefs just as you wish they do.
I reiterate, I consider myself an agnostic. Im not religious. I wish I could be but i dont know if my time would be well spent. Theres simply not enough proof.
If youd like to discuss anything with me, feel free to do so! I love arguing (civilly) with people. Please dont post hate in the comments if you didnt even read what I had to say.

TL;DR Dont be a douche, bad atheists are no better than bad religious people. And bad atheists have no right to attack good religious practice.
