Hunters complained that they didn't get damage reduction, and that they can lose their super in animation where they have no control. (Hell I just shot down a Hunter in GG animation yesterday.)
The reason was that they had a mobile, multiuse, ranged super - and these drawbacks balance out the benefits.
Hell, I ran into a Sunbreaker while Bladedancing. I didn't even get through his shield with the first hit, and he OHK'd me in response.
At the moment, I don't see how a Bladedancer can beat a Sunbreaker at all.

In the Neutral game, yes. We're talking about supers though. Really, Sunbreakers seem to have all the benefits of the other supers (mobile, ranged, melee, area of effect, damage reduction, explosion, lingers,...), but no downside.
