True, but it is the first step. We thought that water might be kinda rare in our solar system just a few decades ago. Now we find ice everywhere. Now we are starting to find liquid water in more and more places. We are even starting to find organic compounds (compounds only made by organism) in a few places. This is like the smoking gun of life. We are so close to finding life in our own backyard it is ridiculous! If we got any closer to find life we would have an actual sample. It's THAT close.
