Almost nonexistent raid drop
So I just finished King's Fall with a group of friends and when the chest appeared for beating Oryx, all I got was the ghost shell and a couple moldering shards. I also had more than 20 moldering shards in my inventory when we beat Oryx. The game took them, but no extra rewards. Is this normal and I just got incredibly unlucky RNG or is this some kind of bug?

It's possible to get "skunked" at Oryx for loot drops, just like you could with Atheon and Crota. One of my runs last week had the same loot as yours: 20 smoldering shards turned into a ghost shell, no additional loot from Oryx.
