You are someone i could debate ideas with.
The problem with this is the concept of money which by my own opinion is the root cause of why destiny is in the state that it is in.the problem is activision, their objective is to make as much money as possible with the lowest amount of effort put in. Thats their only concern.
Bungie on the other hand want to produce a quality product, they could -blam!-ing TASTE the glory that comes with making a revolutionary game. Bethesda Studios is one example. Skyrim makes gamers dicks go hard, its why i purchased ESO "they made major mistakes with that at the start but its been given a facelift and a half"
If destiny is to become the game it truly is, Activision and Bungie NEED to be separated.
Profit and sustainability dont go well together
Judging by the language you use, we both know that.

Agreed. Although, given what was revealed from the Lawsuit case between Marty and Bungie, I'd say Harold Ryan and the other "big wigs" of the studio are just as to blame for things as Activision. They could have done more, fault harder and pushed back. But they didn't. And the way they tried to just get rid of Marty, one of their core guys for Bungie...it really painted a terrible picture for the studio as well. Granted, I'm sure the developers at Bungie are suffering the most because they have to keep seeing the horrible decisions being made with their game. The artists are always the ones who suffer most, but in order to keep living their lives they really have no choice in the matter.

Bungie is still at fault. They decide what content gets pumped out. They have more control over this game than people seem to realize. Activision also gave Bungie some really nice cash incentives for reaching certain thresholds with sales and revenue. Destiny has been a cash grab from the beginning.
