If the game survives long enough this is a very possible reality. Would you want to see something like this? Would you pay to go see it? On what would you want it to be on?
So this was a very successful post. Happy to see so many opinions. Now I Have a new question
Would you rather have famous actors doing roles(list who), or newer actors who are young to not have really any opinion on them from any other movie
-
Yes. I hope it's a 4 hour movie of a person grinding for relic iron on Mars. Then, if the viewer wanted to find our what the movie is about, they could go online and read about it on a Web site, but not all at once, and only a bit at a time for each time you'd have watched the movie.
-
no
-
I wouldn't be surprised if it happened.
-
Dont movies need storys??
-
Yes YES YES
-
-
They would make you pay for the movie in peices
-
If it is like the live action trailers and not some shitty movie
-
Only if they hire those actors from that japanese commercial..
-
Yeah, like the new Assassins Creed movie coming out next year
-
You could actually fill in a lot of backstory with this. Kabr and the Vault, told Aliens style, the Six Coyotes as an adventure flick, Twilight Gap or Six Fronts as pure action movies. Could work.
-
With the proper VA team acting their parts? Absolutely. With anyone but the people already breathing life into them? No -blam!-ing chance. And not with North. Dinklage or bust.
-
LOL THE HALO MOVIE CALLED NIGHTFALL XD worst thing ever
-
It depends......would I watch the movie then have to read all the story on my phone????
-
No. I don't believe that the universe in its current state nor that Bungie would make for a coherent and entertaining story.
-
As long as Fillion voiced Cayde-6
-
It would need to have a desperate hopeless sort of mood rather than just jokes the whole time
-
Also, I think if the gameplay they showed in the action trailer was cool, but the personality of the guardians was too joking kinda. I feel they should make one person in the Fireteam a lot more serious if making a movie
-
I'd support a Destiny T.V show.
-
I mean the live action trailers are well done and nicely put together. I would see this as more of a television series considering the massive amount of lore that is involved and it is the best way to develop characters easily
-
If the movie was just as awesome at the live action trailer to taken king then YEAH lol
-
-
If it was made by Ridley Scott, then yes.
-
Depends how the studio goes about it, if its like most of the other game to movie ports where the studio will pay 90% of the budget to Activision for the rights then i wouldn't bother watching it. Amazing potential if done the right way but with making money seemingly being the key/only factor with anything to do with "entertainment" these days i wouldn't hold your breath.
-
Hell yes
-
It would be fun to watch but would have no story. Until it gets closer to the end. Then it gets a little better
