I am STILL not able to purchase the taken king. I have both dlc's installed on my Xbox one, but it still says unavailable in the Xbox store! I am really upset because I can't play with any of my Xbox one friends, which I would like to play with. Anyone the same way?

Ok, so I'm thinking back to when I got dark below and house of wolves. I bought the dark below from the store like any other game or game add on. But, when the house of wolves dropped, I got on and there was a little tab to the right advertising the house like any other new thing so I clicked it and it just said install and I didn't think much of it at the time but it didn't have a price on it. It just said install. So I don't know if that's the problem, which it shouldn't be because I've never game shared, or it's just some kind of glitch.

Try switching your region to Germany e.g. and then to the USA.

If you play destiny and you see the parts with all the planets you should clickt the Taken King logo. I bought it there. Have you tried that?

Yea, but when I try to click the purchase 40$ edition a purchase screen won't come up.

I know what the problem here is. You have the dark below and house of wolves, yes, but do you actually own them? Gameshared right? Don't deny it, this only happens id you have access to the dlc's bur don't actually own them. Whoever donated you tue dlc, has to get ttk, or else you cant have it, without purchasing TDB and HOW

I do 😉 how I suspected that might be the problem. I read through the other things you posted here, did swapping regions help? If not, ho to store and manually search for it. If its "unavailable" fo to your games and apps, look for destiny. Make sure that you have actually physically downloaded HOW to your console. This seems to be a recurring problem for those with collectors/digital editions, as you may have simply accessed the content via sever connection. Hope this helps

I had the same problem. Apparently you have to buy the dlc expansion even if you have both dlcs already. -_- I wasted my money buying the dlc expansion and now i cant play ttk :(
