Mau'aul's Gauntlets?

Is it possible to get them by repeating the strike? Or does it have to be in a playlist? I've played the damn strike 30+ times in a row and still nothing.

Got them on my hunter one of the first times I did the strike. I absolutely love them. Hope you get yours first
