What game brought you to this site? Halo? Marathon? Destiny?
Well, if you didn't play one of those(DESTINY) all your past invested time on this forum is worth nothing. People like Das Boot and Mad Max(even if you don't like them) are active members and have been for years! There are many many more. Why would they not be able to post on the forum over a new account that's played destiny one time. HOW DOES THAT SOLVE ANYTHING?
Repost and like until this is fixed, thanks. Thoughts?
Tl;dr 7+ years on our forum, but you didnt fork out $60 for our new game? BANNED.

Edited by UberMarcus: 10/1/2015 7:37:02 AMSigned. Shocking tactics. Another week, another kick in the balls. First they came for the Socialists, and I did not speak out— Because I was not a Socialist. Then they came for the Trade Unionists, and I did not speak out— Because I was not a Trade Unionist. Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out— Because I was not a Jew. Then they came for me—and there was no one left to speak for me.

VIVA LA REVELUSION!!!!

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO *takes deep breath* OOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

Bungie's in the Destiny business now. If you want to opine on Halo, 343 has a forum for you.

This, is where the Flood finally dies
-
Day two and no response :/

This is like the worst way to get rid of alts. It's as if Bungie recognizes that the root of the problem is a floppy CoC, crappy "self-moderation", and a lack of incentives to behave, but they just ignore all that and goes with this instead.

Edited by ThyLordIntrovert: 10/1/2015 2:01:01 AMThe process for making that decision in a nutshell Activi$ion: ok guys, here's what we gotta do. If anyone on b.net hasnt played destiny, you gotta ban them Bungie: why? That's getting rid of fans who have been loyal since the beginning, what good will kicking them out do. Activi$ion: if they aren't putting money in our pockets they don't matter, period. Bungie: but.... Activi$ion: PERIOD!!! <later, on the B.net forums> Bungie: sorry guys, but if you haven't played destiny you've gotta leave- Floodian: cmon, we have been here since the beginning, why do we have to leave Bungie: ten year contract.....
-
I have this to say... "Bungie... What have you become?"
anybody get the reference?
Halo 1
-
Well thats just sad i will miss most of the flood

Bungie no longer has creative control. Activision is pulling all the strings. *sheds single tear*

Edited by Vakris One: 10/2/2015 12:55:18 AMWell that is just plain.... strange. It has me scratching my head as to the logic behind it. Bungie has other games out there, some of which are only around 2 to 6 years old. And this is Bungie's official one and only website (as far as I know). Why make owning Destiny a requirement to participate on the forums? And I thought locking people out of the vanilla content unless they buy TTK was a douche move. Oh Bungie, what is going on with you guys?
-
Now I'm having to use my little brothers account -_-
he has no idea these forums exist and his account had destiny sooooooo yea
-
Anybody else notice how this isn't going in highest rated?
-
The thread is no longer pinned...
-
What sucks is that the new consumers won't be able to ask a question or for help :/
-
Having at least on Bungie game connected to your account should allow you to post on all boards except for #Destiny. Forcing all users to own Destiny is a terrible idea!

Edited by Sapphire: 9/30/2015 7:58:09 PMWhat it solves is the issues of porn spammers and people who don't give a crap about other people, because no matter what kind of crap they spew, they could just make another alt. This forces people to either be decent, or not be able to participate in the community. If older members really want to still be able to post here, they can download the demo and make a character. But this is the right decision. This is for the "greater good."
