What game brought you to this site? Halo? Marathon? Destiny?
Well, if you didn't play one of those(DESTINY) all your past invested time on this forum is worth nothing. People like Das Boot and Mad Max(even if you don't like them) are active members and have been for years! There are many many more. Why would they not be able to post on the forum over a new account that's played destiny one time. HOW DOES THAT SOLVE ANYTHING?

I understand one guy does it to spam nsfw MLP images for whatever reason, and one guy does it to be overly offensive and still be able to post under the same name, but are there any good reasons? Does it provide any benefit other than being extra super anonymous?

4 RepliesI don't really see a huge problem if you can just download the demo and link it. If that's the case then nothing will really change except that some of the less try hard trolls/spammers will go away. If you actually have to buy destiny, then that really sucks for some of the older members and was a stupid decision on bungie's part to block them out, although at least the alt problem will actually be fixed.

Come on, we all get sick of these people who have nothing to contribute on these forums but shit posting after another. They're rude and there arguments project nonsense and negativity. Who cares if they get banned, they have another alt to hop onto to rinse and repeat the same shit. The bad: long time invested members of the bungie community should be grandfathered in first off. I have to admit some quality members on here have been dedicated on these forums for quite some time and most I like. Unfortunately 343 from Microsoft now owns Halo, in case most of you didn't know. Bungie is taking care of there new baby, "Destiny" and it's millions of players, come on it's corporate. Something like this was bound to happen. Though implementing the older members would have been a plus and not erradicating them all together. Well that's just my opinion anyways.

It's been pretty clear for a while now that Bungie's trying very hard to substitute their older and more experienced / intelligent veteran community by a younger, more naive and less critical community that won't question anything they do and will chug down anything marked with a big "become legend" sticker on it. On an entirely unrelated note: how have you been, Zach? Been a while.
