Like & Sign to Save Offtopic! (Bungie is Requiring All Forum Users to Be Destiny Players)
LIKE/SIGN to Save Offtopic! Bungie recently announced its decision that all forum users must own a guardian profile in order to participate in ANY forums. This is effectively killing any alt users. Alt users form the heart of Offtopic. Bungie's decision is illogical: they require a forum category (Offtopic) by definition excluding destiny related content to be composed entirely of Destiny users. See the Contradiction? Offtopic is a venue for ideas and interactions that do not relate to its common products, such as Destiny. If you appreciate Offtopic's unique culture and flavorful interactions, sign to have Offtopic exempt from this new "no alts" decision. Lets get to 1000 likes! Here is the link outlining the decision:

If you want Offtopic to remain the fun and ever interesting forum that it is, sign and like this thread (I want to keep it trending, liking helps that). If this decision remains in effect, I and many others will longer be coming here as users.

I am not really an Offtopic user but when I saw DeeJ's post I came straight to Offtopic to find a petition trying to prevent it so I could sign it, for all the members of the bnet community who I may not know but still exist. Signed, what Bungie is doing is wrong. If they want a compromise then they could just ban non Destiny players from the Destiny topic.

Yes it is unfair they could've included those who played Halo or had an account for a long time, but there's a reason why they made this (selfish or selfless) decision, because people kept coming back making new accounts after their 10 day ban, when they could've just wait 10 days and take their ban [spoiler]Signed[/spoiler]
