Rank 5 isn't possible with all 4 relics and doing every gun bounty from week one so don't be fooled by people saying they are rank 5

That is just a coincidence then. They are a random drop. I've gotten several of the same number.

Except some made it to 5 already. Its already online. Oh and first week before taken king, rep gains could get you to 1 and there was glitch to redo the fusion rifle... so.. yah...

That wasnt a glitch there are 4 fusion rifles in total Once you get all 4 they can still drop as duplicates

No I don't mean the Dvalins. You could redo the weapon test on the fusion rifle the first week - pre ttk

I don't think that's how it works. It's double XP not Reputation.

First week of Gunsmith testing was the week before TTK. Radiant Light was still a thing and that would get you to rank 1 and change. Giving you a good head start.

You can also get the fusion rifles multiple times.....

It's possible, as the Test Weapons reset when TTK Launched, and they also reset the day after. You could basically get an extra week worth of XP.
