Compared to Hunters, Titans that run Sunbreaker all day need therapy. Hunters have an instant killing, flaming gun that runs out at 3 shots (4 if specific helmet is on). Titans? Well.... They get UNLIMITED ROCKETS FOR HAMMERS for 20 FULL SECONDS!
And Titans are making fun of both Hunters and Warlocks because of it!? You f ucking Titans need to realize Warlocks AND Hunters are the most balanced out classes IN THE GAME! But you Titans still act like we're the bad guys, calling you out about how OVER POWERED your super is. I don't even see you guys using Striker or Defender anymore. What's the point of having other subclasses when one is being used!?
As a Warlock DEFENDING Hunters and other Warlocks alike, you need to be the ones to grow up and know that your subclass is too powerful for these gametypes, ESPECIALLY Mayhem.
Time to grow up Titans!

Thank you Warlock for defending us fellow Titans but just so you know the only thing I think is overpowered for the Titans is the armor of the Hammer of Sol. Other then that I guess it's fine.

The glitch was fixed. I can manage to get out 8 if I'm not aiming about 4 if people aren't grouped together. The voidbow is awesome. You should use that.

1. A lot of hunters and warlocks are using only new subclasses because it's fun using new content. We also have to max out subclasses. It's unfair to tell Titans to stop using a new subclass and leave the other two alone. It's not our fault sunbreaker is good; you can't seriously tell us not to play around with new content. 2. I've seen striker Titans in the crucible. 3. Nobody used defender in pvp anyway.

So I agree with every titan below, if our entire subclass revolves around our super then yeah the super should be op. But as a warlock in pvp you should know that the easiest way to kill a super is to nip it in the butt with your own Voidwalker nova bomb which is arguably worse than Fists of Panic. Supers aren't meant to be just taken down by normal means they're supers dammit. If you want sunbreakers to stop getting kills in crucible then run the other way when he supers? That's what I do when I hear a golden gun/blade dancer.

When running max armor on blade dancer with the extra armor you take 2 hammers to kill. you're left with half of your red health bar. then I tested it against a person with max armor on storm trance but no extra armor and got the same result. to me this means it's got the same damage of the arc blade melee. If hammer of sol does any extra damage at all its so small that it's not going to matter in 90% of situations. Conclusion: the sunbreaker mid super naturally has a slight armor advantage. and it's honestly so slight it doesn't matter in my opinion. you have potentially 4 snipers with out any special perk roll that can one shot head shot. and if you are using golden gun all you have to do is hit them with anything like a nade or knife and then golden gun and they are dead. I understand people don't like that the sunbreaker can even survive it at all. However they are the tank class and all titan sub classes can tank a golden gun. so it's consistent. and hammer of sol has average damage. needing 2 hammers to kill a majority of people mid super. of course if the target has low armor it's a one hit. But everyone is always telling me max armor is the way to go in crucible. so if you aren't running it you willingly accept the concequences. end of story. I didn't test all sub classes on damage with the hammer because the 2 I did test with different situations yielded the same results. Though if someone proves me wrong with footage and explains the situation i'll retract my statement. I also didn't test sword swings or rockets. Simply because anyone mid super (bar golden gun and radiance with no radiant skin) can tank 2 sword swings and if any of the subclasses (bar the same 2) spec for max armor can survive a rocket. simply put it's not a new thing. armor always protected you from rockets and now from 2 burst deaths. and the swords follow the same damage model as arc blade does. Hopefully this thread gets around and people stop complaining about how tanky they are or how stupid strong hammer damage is. EDIT: I completely forgot to mention the shotgun testing done. Wow, you need to realize a titan doesn't have any damaging subclass besides sunbreaker, sure you got striker, but striker honestly to me seems poop so I don't consider it a subclass. Titans deserve this goddamn class for all the bubbles that they gave that carried YOU through your raids. Because I for one know that, I would probably never have completed VoG or Crotas end withou a bubble.

Here's some actual numbers for 'get to throw hammers for a FULL 20 sec'... All possible hammers thrown: HoS, Scorched Earth, Cauterize. 5 hammers, about 10 sec if thrown on cooldown. HoS, Forgemaster, Cauterize. 7 hammers, about 14 sec if thrown on cooldown. HoS, Scorched Earth, Fire Keeper. 7 hammers+overshield from sunspot, about 14 sec if thrown on cooldown. Zero hammers thrown: maximum uptime for chasing and shit: Scorched Earth, Fire Keeper. 20 sec. Forgemaster, Cauterize. About 27 sec. So yeah.. Titans don't get to just throw all the hammers they want for 20 sec, each throw takes a percentage of super energy. If someone only uses like 1 hammer then ya, it can last 20 sec with the right skill choices.

A little something called strategy, you see when you come up with a plan on how to deal with things in games you are able to live much longer. the super is an overwelming force that, when used right, can turn the tide of battle. how to beat all supers. run. simple as that, run, jump, shade step, blink, shoulder charge. hammers have trajectory an it can be hard to aim if you are jumping over their heads evey two seconds. - this message has been brought to by common sense.
